EDE conducts evaluation, cleanup, and closure activities for military, industrial, and former defense sites around the country.

Contamination

EDE is internationally known for effectivelly dealing with sensitive explosive contamination problems in soil, air, groundwater, and surface water. Other contamination includes metals, solvents, and chemical agents.

UXO

EDE performs geophysical surveys and ordnance evaluation/cleanup for sites contaminated with UXO and OEW.

Planning

EDE prepares operational and safety procedures required for environmental remediation projects. These documents require approval by state agencies, EPA, the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army Technical Center for Explosives Safety, and the Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board.
