Large-scale contained burn technology can be thought of as "open burning indoors." These robust systems are designed to be simple, safe, and flexible in their operations while eliminating pollution and harmful emissions which are typically a concern for open burning operations. Materials are prepared in batches and are ignited in a manner similar to traditional open burning operations. The exhuast gasses are contained and cleaned prior to release to the environment. El Dorado Engineering has provided a wide range of scaled systems ranging in capacity up to 2700 lbs per hour with the largest able to handle batch loads up to approximately 880 lbs of energetic or combustible material.
